My family is like papier mache,
My mother is like the ballon,
She is the heart of the whole thing,
She can be very fun, just don’t pop her.

    My father is the glue,
    Holding everything together,
    And always keeping us safe.

    My brother is crumpled newspaper,
    Rough and loud like thunder,
Causing a storm with his blunder.

And I am like the candy inside,
I am sweet but hard to get,
But once you get me, you will forever have me.

Our house helpers are gentle brushes,
Smoothing the edges of our days,
Like calm waves softening rough sand.

And Tofu, our dog, is the playful splash of color,
    Jumping around us,
Like confetti dancing in the air.

My family is like papier mache,
We are made from pieces that once seemed small,
But together become something exciting and marvellous,
And we all fit together perfectly!
