Lanka Japan Friendship Society Explores the Art of Modern Origami

The Lanka Japan Friendship Society hosted an interactive cultural evening titled “The Evolution of Modern Origami – Beyond the Fold”, celebrating the beauty of Japanese tradition, art and harmony. The programme featured a lecture by Reza Dilshard Kareem, Founder of the Origami Folders Association of Sri Lanka, with the Ambassador of Japan to Sri Lanka, H.E. Akio Isomata, attending as the Chief Guest. Guests also enjoyed demonstrations of Ikebana, Bonsai, Aikido and Japanese philosophy, offering a rich insight into Japan’s cultural heritage.
