61st Independence Day of the Republic of Maldives Celebrated at Reception in Colombo

The High Commission of the Republic of Maldives in Sri Lanka hosted a reception to commemorate the 61st Independence Day of the Republic of Maldives on 23 July 2026 at the Luminia Ballroom, Cinnamon Life at City of Dreams, Colombo. The event, hosted by His Excellency Masood Imad, High Commissioner of the Republic of Maldives to Sri Lanka, brought together invited guests to celebrate the longstanding friendship and close ties between the Maldives and Sri Lanka in a cordial and festive atmosphere.
