The untitled documentary will be told through the perspective of series creator Amy Sherman-Palladino and executive producer Daniel Palladino, exploring the creative choices, collaborations and unexpected moments that shaped Gilmore Girls into the series fans still return to.
The film will feature interviews with key figures behind the show, including Sherman-Palladino and beloved cast members such as Lauren Graham, who played the quick-witted, fiercely independent Lorelai Gilmore. Alongside personal reflections, the documentary will include never-before-seen outtakes, behind-the-scenes footage and original script pages, offering viewers a rare glimpse into the making of Stars Hollow and the characters who lived there.
