MMCA Sri Lanka Opens First Moving Images Exhibition

    • The Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art Sri Lanka (MMCA Sri Lanka) hosted a private view of its first moving images exhibition titled Three Songs of Ceylon at Park Street Mews, Colombo. Curated by Senior Curator Sandev Handy, the exhibition takes inspiration from The Song of Ceylon (1934) and examines how contemporary artists have revisited and reinterpreted the film from different perspectives. The exhibition marks a significant milestone in MMCA Sri Lanka’s curatorial programme.
