CMA Sri Lanka Launches Cost Accounting Standards Initiative

The Institute of Certified Management Accountants of Sri Lanka (CMA Sri Lanka) officially launched its Cost Accounting Standards initiative at a special ceremony held at the Crystal Ballroom of Taj Samudra, Colombo. The event, organised by the President and Council of CMA Sri Lanka together with the Chairman of CMASB, brought together professionals and stakeholders from the accounting and finance sector.

The initiative marks an important step towards strengthening cost management practices and enhancing professional standards within Sri Lanka’s corporate and financial landscape. The launch ceremony was followed by a dinner reception attended by distinguished guests and industry representatives.

Celebrating 25 years of excellence, CMA Sri Lanka continues to play a significant role in advancing the accounting profession through education, professional development and policy initiatives.
