The Global Organisation of People of Indian Origin (GOPIO) Sri Lanka celebrated its 25th anniversary with a grand Silver Jubilee event held at the Taj Marquee, Colombo. The evening brought together dignitaries, members, and well-wishers to mark the milestone in fostering friendship and cultural exchange between India and Sri Lanka.

The program commenced with the lighting of the oil lamp followed by the national anthems of both countries. The President of GOPIO Sri Lanka delivered the welcome address, highlighting the organization’s journey over the past 25 years.
