GAEA International Introduces ‘kaern’ Premium Milk Powder Brand in Sri Lanka
GAEA International (Private) Limited, the Sri Lankan arm of Shanghai GAEA Nutritional Foods Holdings Co., Ltd., made its official debut at the Pro Food Pro Pack Ag-Biz 2025 exhibition on August 22 at the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall (BMICH). At the event, the company unveiled Kaern, its flagship premium milk powder brand, designed to elevate the standard of Sri Lankan-made food and beverage products. Kaern is sourced from the Golden Dairy Belt (40–50° North Latitude), a region globally acclaimed for its nutrient-rich pastures and ideal conditions for dairy farming.
The launch was attended by representatives from the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China, including Mr. Tang Yandi, Commercial Counsellor, and Ms. Shi Zhen, Attaché. Their presence highlighted the growing collaboration between China and Sri Lanka in food and agricultural development.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Tang Yandi stated:

GAEA’s product line extends beyond milk powder to include butter, cheese, and other dairy solutions, all manufactured to rigorous global certifications such as ISO 22000, BRCGS, HACCP, ISO 9001, GMP, and Halal standards.
