A Celebratory Evening at Rhythm of the Night 2025

The Lanka Japan Friendship Society successfully hosted Rhythm of the Night 2025, an evening filled with music, fellowship and cultural appreciation. The lively performance by Nalin and the Star Combination set a joyful tone for the night, while the distinguished presence of Sri Lanka’s esteemed compere Dr Vijaya Corea added elegance and warmth to the occasion.

Guests enjoyed a buffet dinner featuring sashimi as they gathered to celebrate the enduring friendship between Sri Lanka and Japan. The event brought together members, partners and well-wishers for a colourful and memorable evening at the Ramada Hotel in Colombo.

Under her guidance, her team has achieved significant accolades, including Social Media House of the Year (2020, New Generation Awards), Youth Corporate Award (2021, New Generation Awards) and the Silver Award from YouTube for both Daily Mirror Online and Lankadeepa Online. Currently, Rishini divides her time between London and Colombo, continuing to drive innovation in media while championing powerful storytelling across multiple platforms.
