Round-Table Conference Highlights Role of Sri Lankan Women in Inspiring Youth
A round-table conference marking International Women’s Day 2026 was held at the Shyamala School of Art in Colombo, bringing together women leaders and media representatives to discuss the role of Sri Lankan women in inspiring and influencing the country’s youth.
Organized by the Shyamala School of Art in collaboration with the Unity Mission Trust, the event focused on empowering women and supporting the development of young girls in Sri Lanka. The conference also marked the first stage of a long-term initiative aimed at creating positive social impact through leadership, mentorship, and creative engagement.
