The Udayshanth and Angelika Fernando Foundation successfully hosted its first fundraiser for 2025 with a landmark exhibition featuring over 40 modern and contemporary works from Udayshanth Fernando’s private collection. Held at No. 138 Galle Road, Colombo, the exclusive preview on May 29 showcased iconic Sri Lankan artists including Ivan Peries, Lionel Wendt, and Richard Gabriel. The event brought together collectors, patrons, and art lovers in support of the Foundation’s mission to preserve and promote Sri Lanka’s cultural heritage. Funds raised will go toward future programs in conservation, education, and the development of emerging artistic talent across the country.
