The day two of KALĀ 2026 unfolded on 18 January with a focused programme of curatorial walkthroughs and panel discussions, drawing attention to key themes shaping contemporary artistic practice in South Asia.
Curated walkthroughs led by Tanya Dutt, Consulting Editor of TAKE on Art Magazine, offered visitors guided insight into the exhibition and its conceptual directions. Two panel discussions held during the day explored subjects including memory, reconciliation, domestic space, material heritage, collecting, and public art, bringing together artists and cultural practitioners from across the region.
KALĀs 2026 sessions further strengthened KALĀ 2026’s objective of fostering cross-border dialogue and meaningful exchange, positioning the platform as a space for critical conversation and contemporary artistic engagement in Colombo.
