Soul Sounds Academy Presents “Why We Sing”

The Soul Sounds Academy recently hosted “Why We Sing”, a heartwarming and inspiring evening of music held at the Havelock Pavilion, Colombo. The event featured the Soul Sounds Academy Senior Community Choir, directed by Soundarie David Rodrigo, and brought together voices filled with passion and harmony.
The concert highlighted the power of music to connect people across generations, with performances by singers aged 50 and above. The repertoire included well-loved classics from the 70s and 80s, as well as a special presentation by the award-winning Soul Sounds choir. The evening also featured guest performances by the Soul Sounds Academy Parents’ Choir, adding an extra layer of warmth and unity to the celebration.
