Celebrating 50 Years A Night to Honour School Spirit and Friendship

The Imperial Court at Cinnamon Lakeside Colombo came alive on the 27th of June 2025, as alumni from five of Sri Lanka’s most prestigious schools gathered for an unforgettable evening of music, laughter, and memories at The Fabulous Naughties Party.
Organised by the Batch of '94 Combined School Club – representing Ladies’ College, Royal College, Bishop’s College, S. Thomas’ College, and Trinity College – the celebration marked a momentous 50-year milestone since their school days, honouring decades of friendship and shared legacy.
With a vibrant 90s theme setting the tone, guests immersed themselves in nostalgic tunes, fashion throwbacks, and heartfelt reunions that reflected the enduring bonds between classmates and schools alike. The evening was not only a tribute to the past but a joyous celebration of continued connection and unity.

Under her guidance, her team has achieved significant accolades, including Social Media House of the Year (2020, New Generation Awards), Youth Corporate Award (2021, New Generation Awards) and the Silver Award from YouTube for both Daily Mirror Online and Lankadeepa Online. Currently, Rishini divides her time between London and Colombo, continuing to drive innovation in media while championing powerful storytelling across multiple platforms.
